Job description:
Required open availability on both weekend days.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
– Welcome members, prospective members, and guests by delivering exceptional customer service.
– Execute all front desk activities, which include:
– Answering phone calls in a friendly and professional manner while assisting callers with various inquiries.
– Verifying IDs and member barcodes in the system.
– Facilitating new member sign-ups.
– Conducting club tours for prospective members.
– Managing updates to member accounts as needed.
– Addressing member questions and concerns promptly and professionally, escalating issues to the Assistant Club Manager when necessary.
– Supporting the maintenance of a neat and clean environment within the club.
– Monitoring for safety and cleanliness throughout the club facilities.
– Thoroughly cleaning and sanitizing restrooms, locker room areas, fitness equipment, and gym floors.
– Stocking locker rooms with necessary supplies and paper products.
– Reporting any damaged or missing amenities or equipment (such as toilets, faucets, showers, hair dryers, gym equipment, etc.) to the Club Manager.
– Adhering to the “Lost and Found Policy” by promptly submitting lost member property to the Club Manager or Assistant Club Manager.

Qualifications/Requirements:
– Previous experience in customer service is preferred.
– Basic proficiency in computer use.
– A strong passion for fitness and health.
– Maintain an upbeat and positive attitude at all times.
– Punctuality and reliability are essential.
– Exceptional customer service skills, enabling positive and professional interactions with members and co-workers, exceeding their expectations.
– Strong listening skills, with the ability to empathize and effectively solve problems.
– Demonstrate diplomacy in all interactions, using appropriate behavior and language.
– High School diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
– Must be 18 years of age or older.

Physical Demands:
– Ability to stand and walk continuously during the shift.
– Frequent in-person communication with members and responding to membership inquiries via phone.
– Capability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
– Responsible for diluting and cleaning with chemicals during the shift.
– Cleaning and sanitizing frequently used equipment and surfaces within the club.
– Monitoring the club and assisting members throughout the entire shift.
