The primary responsibility of this position is to ensure cleaner and healthier environments for our customers’ buildings and grounds by executing the following essential duties and responsibilities:

Duties:
– Execute all cleaning tasks for facilities using designated ServiceMaster products, tools, and procedures
– Cleaning responsibilities include sweeping, mopping, polishing, managing waste, cleaning windows, and handling furniture and equipment
– Maintain an adequate inventory of supplies and equipment
– Utilize appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as required
– Open and secure facilities, and manage security systems as necessary
– 1-2 years of experience as a custodian, janitor, or housekeeper is advantageous but not mandatory
– On-the-job training will be provided to candidates demonstrating a strong work ethic and eagerness to learn
– Experience with professional janitorial companies, office complexes, hotels, hospitals, or schools is a plus
– Ability to adapt, work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, and manage multiple tasks is essential
– Foster a positive work atmosphere with a friendly demeanor, contributing to overall team efforts, including adherence to uniform standards, reliability, and punctuality
– Demonstrate respect and understanding toward co-workers and customers

Physical Demands and Qualifications:
– Regularly engage in activities that involve standing, walking, pushing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, twisting, and reaching both overhead and forward. Must be able to lift and/or carry up to 25 lbs.
