Job Description
Job Title: Caregiver, 2nd and 3rd shifts
Company: Macatawa
Location: West Olive, MI
Pay: $16.85 per hour
AI Pay Analysis: The hourly rate of $16.85 for a “Caregiver, 2nd and 3rd shifts” position in West Olive, MI, appears to be somewhat below the national average for similar roles, which typically range from $20 to $25 per hour depending on experience, certifications, and other factors, especially in regions with a higher cost of living. However, wages for caregivers can vary significantly by location, type of facility, and level of care required. In Michigan, the average wage for caregivers is around $15 to $20 per hour, making $16.85 competitive but on the lower end of the spectrum, particularly for night shifts which are often compensated at a higher rate due to their demanding nature. Overall, while this rate may be acceptable in certain contexts, it could be more attractive if it included additional benefits or incentives.
