Role Summary
As a Team Member, you will play a crucial role in shaping a positive experience for our members by delivering outstanding customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members, and guests.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Greet members, prospective members, and guests, ensuring an exceptional level of customer service.
- Manage all front desk activities, including:
- Answering phones in a friendly manner and addressing a variety of inquiries.
- Checking members into the system.
- Assisting with new member sign-ups.
- Conducting tours for prospective members.
- Facilitating necessary updates to members’ accounts.
- Responding to member questions and concerns in a timely, professional manner and escalating issues to the Assistant Manager or Manager when required.
- Assisting in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the club.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Previous customer service experience preferred.
- Basic proficiency in computer skills.
- A strong passion for fitness and health.
- An upbeat and positive attitude.
- Punctuality and reliability are essential.
- Exceptional customer service skills, with the ability to engage positively and professionally with members and colleagues, consistently exceeding expectations.
- Strong listening skills, with the ability to empathize and resolve problems effectively.
- Demonstrated diplomacy in all interactions, using appropriate behavior and language.
- High School diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Candidates must be 18 years of age or older.
