Job Title: Caregiver 3rd Shift

Company: Homestead Home Health Care

Location: Shelby Township, MI

Pay: $15 per hour

AI Pay Analysis: As of October 2023, an hourly rate of $15 for a “Caregiver 3rd Shift” role in Shelby Township, MI, is generally considered below the industry standard for caregiving positions. According to various sources, including the Bureau of Labor Statistics and local job postings, the average hourly wage for caregivers in Michigan typically ranges from $18 to $22, depending on factors such as experience, specific job duties, and the complexity of care required. Additionally, night shift roles often command a premium due to the unconventional hours, making $15 less competitive. This rate may hinder the ability to attract and retain qualified caregivers in the region, especially given the ongoing demand for skilled healthcare workers.
