Compensation: $13.25 per hour

Responsibilities:

As a Team Member, you will play a crucial role in delivering world-class customer service while collaborating effectively as part of a team. This position requires flexibility to work in both kitchen and cash register areas, ensuring smooth and efficient operations throughout the store.

• Manage cash handling and fuel transactions in compliance with state and local regulations regarding lottery, cigarettes, and alcohol sales.
• Assist with product stocking, merchandising, display maintenance, and overall store cleanliness.
• Stay informed about product details, promotions, and advertisements, utilizing suggestive selling techniques to enhance sales.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment by adhering to all health and sanitation procedures.
• Communicate effectively with the kitchen and Store Manager regarding food needs to guarantee timely and accurate order fulfillment.
• Follow incident reporting procedures and promptly report any safety concerns or related incidents to management.
• Undertake other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Candidates must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to sit, stand, walk, climb, kneel, and bend for the duration of your shift.
• Capacity to lift up to 50 pounds on occasion.
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills to manage workload effectively.
• Excellent verbal communication skills to interact with guests and team members.
• Experience with point-of-sale (POS) systems is desirable, or a willingness to learn.
• Previous experience in retail, customer service, or clerical roles is preferred.
• Must successfully pass a pre-employment background check.
