This position offers a salary range of $68,700 – $131,500, commensurate with experience.

In this role, you will provide human resources consulting services, including assessment, strategy development, and implementation of organizational initiatives. As a key strategic business partner, you will deliver a wide array of human resource support and leadership, ensuring management and employees in assigned client groups effectively meet their workforce needs.

Essential Job Functions:

Strategic Alignment and Goal Development

  • Collaborate with clients to understand and assess their business direction in line with existing strategic plans.
  • Assist in formulating action plans that support HR-related goals, addressing departmental needs, leveraging strengths, and maximizing opportunities.
  • Participate in the analysis and interpretation of relevant data (such as engagement metrics, talent acquisition statistics, productivity indicators, and patient experience feedback) to evaluate progress toward HR-related objectives.
  • Follow up with leadership on the status and efficacy of action plans.

Strategic Workforce Planning and Management

  • Implement workforce planning strategies that encompass all facets of employment needs to support overall business objectives (including talent acquisition, learning programs, employee well-being, compensation, engagement, and succession planning).
  • Partner with clients to address workforce requirements, including training, employee relations, compensation issues, setting performance goals, and evaluations, while serving as a resource for related systems guidance.
  • Utilize HR analytics tools to identify opportunities for enhancing strategic workforce planning goals, particularly regarding turnover, retention, succession planning, and performance management.

Organizational Development

  • Collaborate with managers and HR professionals to enhance and sustain performance within designated business units.
  • Facilitate team development sessions aimed at improving team effectiveness and outcomes; provide leadership advisement as needed.
  • Work with clients and HR leadership on onboarding processes, developing project plans, communication strategies, and action plans that address quality, productivity, patient experience, and engagement.
  • Offer consulting support during consolidation, outsourcing, insourcing, and acquisition initiatives.

Client Communication

  • Support the dissemination of monthly HR updates.
  • Communicate HR initiatives and expectations clearly.
  • Provide upward feedback to offer clients constructive advice and coaching on staff development opportunities.
  • Coordinate and implement HR initiatives with client groups, developing and delivering unit-specific presentations to educate and support client engagement with HR tools. Participate in business unit meetings as requested.
  • Conduct rounds with employees and managers to foster an open communication and feedback environment.

Positive Work Environment

  • Collaborate with employees, management, and HR personnel to maintain a positive workplace culture and promote constructive employee relations.
  • Proactively identify and facilitate equitable resolutions to job-related concerns and complaints.
  • Assist in preparing position statements and supporting documentation for claims related to unemployment, discrimination, and other employment-related actions filed with appropriate regulatory agencies.

Experience We Value:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or CRCR certification is required.
  • A minimum of three years of prior human resources experience is essential.
  • Strong understanding of HR laws and regulations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with Workday is desired.
  • This role requires approximately 10% travel.
