Role Summary
The Team Member is responsible for cultivating a positive experience for our members by delivering exemplary customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members, and guests.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Welcome members, prospective members, and guests with exceptional customer service.
  • Manage all front desk responsibilities, including:
    • Answering phones in a friendly and helpful manner, addressing a variety of inquiries.
    • Checking members into the system.
    • Facilitating new member sign-ups.
    • Conducting tours for prospective members.
    • Assisting with necessary updates to members’ accounts.
    • Responding to member inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally, escalating issues to the Assistant Manager or Manager as required.
    • Contributing to the overall neatness and cleanliness of the club.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Previous customer service experience is preferred.
  • Basic computer skills are necessary.
  • A strong passion for fitness and health.
  • Must have an upbeat and positive attitude.
  • Punctuality and reliability are essential.
  • Exceptional customer service abilities; capable of interacting positively and professionally with members and colleagues, exceeding expectations.
  • Strong listening skills paired with the ability to empathize and provide effective solutions.
  • Demonstrated diplomacy in all interactions, while using appropriate behavior and language.
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent is required.
