The compensation for this position starts at $18.95 per hour, with the potential for an increase after 90 days. Schedule: Tuesday to Saturday, 7:30 AM until finish.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate trucks to deliver products to customers in accordance with scheduled delivery times.
  • Efficiently unload products from the trailer using a two-wheeler, pallet jack, or manually, and place items in the designated storage areas of customers.
  • Verify the accuracy of deliveries with customers and obtain the necessary signatures.
  • Handle collections and payments from customers as applicable.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to enhance the client experience.
  • Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of equipment.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull weights between 20 to 80+ lbs. of product repetitively throughout each shift.
  • Comfortable driving and working in various weather conditions with frequent stops (10+ per shift).

Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possession of a valid U.S. driver’s license issued by the state of residence, with appropriate endorsements if required.
  • Ability to pass a DOT physical and pre-employment testing (including drug screening and background checks).
  • No more than two traffic violation convictions in the past two years, no DUI convictions in the past three years, and no license suspensions in the past three years.
  • Previous commercial or professional driving experience is not required; however, one year of multi-stop delivery experience is preferred, or six months of local delivery experience and/or foodservice industry experience.
  • Experience with hand cart delivery is preferred.
  • Must have availability to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed to service customers.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English regarding job responsibilities and safety regulations.
  • Basic mathematical skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division).
  • A high school diploma or general education degree (GED) is preferred.
