At Home Instead Portage County, you will serve not just as a caregiver but as a Care Professional (CarePro). Your daily responsibilities will include visiting the homes of assigned clients, with tasks tailored to match your skills and the specific needs of each client. These may encompass light housekeeping, companionship, attending outings, assisting with medical appointments, personal care tasks such as bathing and dressing, and medication reminders. Please note that skilled nursing responsibilities, such as administering medications or facilitating therapy, are not required. Each caregiver will be accompanied by a senior care manager during their initial visit to a new client.
