Schedule:

  • 85% of driver routes allow for daily home time.
  • Standard work schedule is typically 4 days of 12 hours.
  • Saturday deliveries are often required.
  • Coverage for driver vacations may include some night routes and overnight hotel stays.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate trucks to deliver products to customers while adhering to scheduled delivery times.
  • Accurately unload products using a two-wheeler, pallet jack, or by hand, ensuring they are placed in designated storage areas.
  • Confirm delivery accuracy with customers and secure necessary signatures.
  • Handle collections and payments from customers as applicable.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service to enhance client relationships.
  • Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip equipment inspections.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to lift, carry, push, or pull products weighing between 20 to 80+ lbs. repeatedly throughout each shift.
  • Must be comfortable driving and working in adverse weather conditions with frequent stops (10+ per shift).

Qualifications:

  • Registration in the FMCSA Clearinghouse is required.*
  • Minimum age of 21 years old.
  • Valid CDL Class A issued by your state of legal residence, with the necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications.
  • At least six months of commercial driving experience in any industry or three months of experience in food and/or beverage delivery.
  • Ability to operate a manual transmission is preferred and may be required in specific locations.
  • Proficiency in reading and communicating in English is essential for understanding highway traffic signs, responding to official inquiries, and completing reports and records.
