Job Description
Job Title: Caregiver
Company: Homestead
Location: Sterling Heights, MI
Pay: $15 per hour
AI Pay Analysis: An hourly rate of $15 for a caregiver role in Sterling Heights, MI, is generally below the industry standards for this profession. As of 2023, caregiver salaries typically range from $11 to $20 per hour nationally, with some regions and specialized roles commanding higher rates due to demand and cost of living. In Michigan, the average hourly wage for caregivers is usually around $13 to $17, depending on experience, certifications, and specific duties. Therefore, while $15 is within a reasonable range, it may not be considered competitive, especially if the role requires specialized skills or experience, or if the cost of living in Sterling Heights is taken into account.
