At Great Wolf, the Room Attendant (Housekeeper) holds a vital position within the Lodge, responsible for cultivating a clean and orderly environment for our guests. The Housekeeping team carries out essential cleaning and maintenance tasks, which encompass vacuuming, dusting, washing items, collecting trash, and sorting materials appropriately. Our dedicated housekeeping staff empowers guests to leave behind their daily responsibilities and fully enjoy their stay.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Perform cleaning of guest rooms and common areas, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, cleaning bathrooms, replenishing supplies, and cleaning windows, mirrors, and patios.
• Utilize cleaning chemicals according to safety instructions and familiarize yourself with all relevant material safety data sheets.
• Maintain a well-stocked, organized, and clean housekeeping cart.
• Report maintenance issues through the proper channels for timely resolution.
• Document and secure lost and found items.
• Foster positive communication with guests in a professional and friendly manner.
• Ensure housekeeping cart is restocked and prepared at the end of your shift.
• Assist House Attendants by delivering guest requests and collecting used items.
• Conserve energy by properly managing shades and temperatures in unoccupied rooms.
• Report any hazardous conditions in the work area or equipment to a supervisor.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Successful completion of a criminal background check and drug screening.

Desired Qualifications & Traits:

• Prior experience in housekeeping, sanitation, laundry operations, and/or guest services.
• Strong customer service and oral communication skills.
• Previous experience in housekeeping or general cleaning.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
• Ability to push/pull up to 100 lbs.
• Capable of bending, stretching, and twisting.
• Able to stand for extended periods.
• Able to work with cleaning chemicals as directed.
