Job description:

A Cook is tasked with the preparation of all food items according to standardized recipes for various outlets, including the Restaurant/Dining Outlet, Café, Room Service, Employee Cafeteria, and Banquets. The position demands a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of food quality to create appealing and appetizing dishes. In addition to food preparation, the Cook is responsible for upholding cleanliness, sanitation, and safety in the kitchen and work areas, while effectively managing waste to optimize cost and production ratios. The starting compensation for this role is $18 per hour.

Qualifications:

  • A High School diploma or equivalent; experience in a hotel or related field is preferred.
  • Food Handlers Certification compliant with state regulations is required.

  • Practice safe work habits to prevent potential injuries to oneself or others.
  • Understand all hotel policies and house rules.
  • Be knowledgeable of the hotel’s emergency procedures.
  • Utilize Production Charts as per Aimbridge Hospitality standards.
  • Maintain attentiveness, friendliness, helpfulness, and courtesy towards guests, managers, and other associates at all times.
  • Operate and maintain cleanliness of all kitchen equipment.
