Schedule:

  • 85% of driver routes allow for daily home time.
  • Typical schedule varies, generally 4×12.
  • Saturday deliveries are often required.
  • Coverage for driver vacations may involve occasional night routes and overnight stays.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate trucks to deliver products to customers while adhering to scheduled delivery times.
  • Efficiently unload products using a two-wheeler, pallet jack, or manually, placing items in designated storage areas at customer sites.
  • Verify delivery accuracy with customers and secure necessary signatures.
  • Collect payments and handle customer transactions when applicable.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to enhance the client experience.
  • Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of equipment.

Physical Requirements:

  • The role requires the ability to lift, carry, push, and pull between 20 to 80+ lbs. of product repeatedly throughout the shift.
  • Comfort in driving and working in various weather conditions with frequent stops (10+ per shift) is essential.

Qualifications:

  • Registration with the FMCSA Clearinghouse is required.
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid CDL Class A license issued by the state of legal residence with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications is mandatory.
  • A minimum of six months of commercial driving experience (in any industry) or three months of experience in the food and/or beverage delivery industry is required.
  • Preference will be given to candidates with the ability to operate a manual transmission, which may be required in specific locations.
  • Proficiency in reading and communicating in English is necessary to engage effectively in conversations, understand highway signage, respond to official inquiries, and complete reports.
