Job Summary:
The Barista is responsible for crafting and serving a variety of coffee and espresso beverages, as well as related food and beverage items. The role involves adhering to HACCP guidelines to ensure food safety and quality while fostering a friendly and courteous interaction with customers and colleagues.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepare espresso beverages for customers and catering events, adhering to established recipes and measurements.
• Accurately enter orders into the POS system and process both cash and credit transactions.
• Replenish condiments, beverages, and general supplies, ensuring the cleanliness of the service area.
• Maintain proper presentation, portion sizes, and serving temperatures in accordance with HACCP standards.
• Ensure the sanitation and organization of all equipment, supplies, and utensils.
• Prepare food according to approved recipes and established production standards.
• Keep display equipment clean and free of debris during service.
• Thoroughly clean equipment and workstation before transitioning to other assignments.
• Greet customers with courtesy, ensuring a satisfying experience and addressing any relevant concerns with supervisors.
• Serve customers promptly and efficiently, minimizing delays during peak service times.
• Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of daily menu items to effectively explain them to customers.
• Act as an advocate for selling techniques by providing excellent communication and support for customer decision-making.
• Ensure all display foods are visually appealing and served according to established standards.
