Job Position Description:
We are seeking an experienced cleaner to join our team. This position is responsible for maintaining a clean and healthy environment for our clients’ buildings and grounds through the performance of essential duties and responsibilities. We are hiring for a part-time cleaner for evening shifts on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Additional responsibilities may include:
– Performing overall cleaning duties such as trash removal, maintaining common areas, restocking bathrooms, and vacuuming.
– Utilizing ServiceMaster products, tools, and established procedures to execute all cleaning tasks.
– Maintaining an inventory of supplies and equipment.
– Adhering to safety protocols and utilizing proper personal protective equipment as required.
– Displaying caution with safety hazard signage, including “wet floor” warnings when necessary.
– Having 1-2 years of experience as a custodian, janitor, or housekeeper is preferred but not mandatory.
– On-the-job training will be provided for candidates who demonstrate a strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
– Experience with professional janitorial companies, office complexes, hotels, hospitals, or schools is advantageous.
– Contributing positively to the work environment by exhibiting a pleasant attitude, being dependable, and adhering to dress standards, including wearing uniforms.
