Schedule:

  • 85% of driver routes allow for daily home time.
  • Typical work schedule is four 12-hour shifts.
  • Saturday deliveries are often required.
  • Driver vacation coverage may involve some night routes and overnight hotel stays.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate trucks to deliver products to customers punctually.
  • Carefully unload products from the trailer using a two-wheeler, pallet jack, or manually, ensuring proper placement in designated customer storage areas.
  • Confirm the accuracy of deliveries with customers and obtain necessary signatures.
  • Manage collections and payments from customers as required.
  • Provide outstanding customer service to enhance the client experience.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of equipment.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull 20 to 80+ lbs. of product repetitively during each shift.
  • Comfort in driving and working in inclement weather conditions with frequent stops (10+ per shift).

Qualifications:

  • Registration in the FMCSA Clearinghouse is required.
  • Minimum age of 21 years.
  • Valid CDL Class A issued by your state of residence, including necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications.
  • At least six months of commercial driving experience (any industry) or three months of experience in food and/or beverage delivery.
  • Preference for candidates with the ability to operate a manual transmission; this may be required in specific locations.
  • Proficient in reading and communicating in English, with the ability to engage in conversations, understand highway traffic signs and signals, respond to official inquiries, and accurately complete reports and records.
