Job Description
Job Title: Line Cook
Company: The Reserve at Red Run
Location: Royal Oak, MI
Pay: $16 per hour
AI Pay Analysis: The hourly rate of $16 for a Line Cook position in Royal Oak, MI, is somewhat below the industry standard for this role in the region. As of 2023, line cooks in Michigan typically earn between $17 to $22 per hour, depending on experience and establishment type, with higher wages often found in busy or upscale restaurants. While $16 might be acceptable for entry-level positions or smaller establishments, it may not attract experienced candidates in a competitive job market where skills and efficiency are highly valued. Thus, to enhance competitiveness, the offered wage may need to be increased to align better with local industry standards.
