Job description:

This part-time associate position involves sampling alcohol products for suppliers within a Sam’s Club location. As an Alcohol Sampler, you will engage customers by introducing them to new and exciting items and brands through alcohol tastings. While experience in customer service, food handling, bartending, serving, cashiering, stocking, demonstrating, brand ambassadorship, or brand advocacy is advantageous, it is not a requirement.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a professional appearance that aligns with job requirements and adhere to the specific dress code for alcohol sampling, typically consisting of black clothing.
  • Comply with federal, state, and local laws pertaining to the sampling and marketing of alcohol.
  • Obtain any necessary permits, licenses, or certifications required by law.
  • Professionally and safely prepare and serve alcohol and food samples, utilizing various equipment and small appliances.

Qualifications:

  • Must be between 18-21 years of age, depending on location.
  • Availability for weekend shifts (Friday-Sunday) is preferred, with opportunities for holiday and weekday work as well.
