Schedule:

• Approximately 85% of Driver routes allow for daily home return.
• Typical schedule consists of four 12-hour shifts per week.
• Saturday deliveries are often required.
• Vacation coverage for Drivers may involve some night routes and overnight stays.

Main Ingredients of the Job:

• Safely operate trucks to deliver products to customers, adhering to scheduled delivery times.
• Efficiently unload products from the trailer using a two-wheeler, pallet jack, or by hand, ensuring proper placement in designated customer storage areas.
• Verify delivery accuracy with customers and secure appropriate signatures.
• Manage collections and payments from customers as needed.
• Deliver exceptional customer service to enhance the client experience.
• Conduct comprehensive pre-trip and post-trip equipment inspections.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull between 20 to 80+ pounds of product repetitively throughout each shift.
• Comfort with driving and working in various weather conditions while making frequent stops (10 or more per shift).

What You Bring to the Table:

• Registration with the FMCSA Clearinghouse is a prerequisite.*
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Valid CDL Class A license issued by your state of legal residence, including necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications.
• A minimum of six months of commercial driving experience in any industry, or three months of commercial driving experience specifically in the food and/or beverage delivery sector.
• Proficiency in operating manual transmissions is preferred and may be required in certain locations.
• Ability to read and communicate effectively in English, including understanding highway traffic signs, responding to official inquiries, and completing reports and records.
