Job description:
Accurately fulfills customer needs by delivering automotive parts and tires in a timely, efficient, and professional manner.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following. Additional duties may be assigned as necessary. Provide exceptional customer service daily, surpassing standard customer expectations while adhering to company policies and procedures. Retrieve tires based on customer orders and load them into delivery vehicles. Ensure the accuracy of deliveries and execute effective routing. Complete and return forms, and manage invoices, transfers, and all related paperwork with precision.
Unload deliveries, pull orders, and engage in other warehouse responsibilities as required when no deliveries are scheduled. Adhere strictly to all relevant safety regulations at all times. Communicate pertinent information to the manager promptly. Address customer inquiries courteously, or escalate to the manager when further information is required. Execute deliveries in a timely and professional manner and complete only assigned deliveries. Communicate with the manager from the customer’s location as necessary.
Depart from customer locations promptly following the completion of deliveries. Follow vehicle safety protocols consistently and ensure cash invoices are initialed clearly. Comprehend and adhere to cash handling standards. Complete return forms accurately and within designated timeframes. Verify and finalize invoices with attention to detail and record all relevant information accurately. Carry out transfers appropriately. Conduct weekly vehicle inspections and routine maintenance checks as needed.
Notify the manager regarding any non-routine repairs or maintenance required for company vehicles. Maintain vehicle cleanliness daily. Accurately select tires to fulfill orders and stock them in the appropriate order. Assist in the loading and unloading of vehicles.
Perform facility maintenance, including housekeeping tasks and general maintenance responsibilities. Exhibit professionalism, courtesy, and proactivity with customers, vendors, and colleagues at all times. Effectively and efficiently follow both oral and written instructions. Collaborate well with team members under deadline constraints. Commit to producing quality work with a strong attention to detail.
