Welcome to Masa & Agave, a speakeasy-style cantina situated within the historic Westin Cleveland Downtown. We are seeking a dedicated professional to oversee our evening service and operations, reporting directly to the Director of Outlets and Restaurant General Manager. The primary focus of this role will be to manage our evening restaurant operations, provide beverage leadership, and maintain inventory.

Responsibilities:
- Direct day-to-day operations of the restaurant and room service during lunch and dinner periods, including bar operations.
- Address customer trends, needs, and feedback to ensure a superior experience and foster future sales opportunities.
- Manage human resources within various outlets to attract, retain, and motivate associates, including interviewing, hiring, scheduling, training, developing, empowering, coaching, and conducting performance and salary reviews.
- Implement company programs and manage operations across the Restaurant, Room Service, and other food and beverage outlets to ensure adherence to LSOPs, SOPs, safety regulations, and legal compliance, thereby maintaining optimal service and quality standards.
- Forecast, implement, monitor, control, and report on outlet budgets—including labor, food, beverage costs, supplies, and equipment—to maximize revenue and minimize expenses while ensuring sufficient staffing and supplies for exemplary customer service.
- Create and implement promotional strategies, displays, and buffet presentations to attract in-house guests and increase our share of the local market.
- Oversee the maintenance and sanitation of various outlet areas and equipment, ensuring regulatory compliance and high-quality service.
- Maintain regular attendance and availability to fulfill job requirements consistently.
- Perform additional job-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of two years of post-secondary education.
- A minimum of two years of relevant experience in a related position.
- Strong leadership skills to motivate and develop staff while achieving organizational goals.
- Proficient in setting priorities, planning, organizing, and delegating tasks effectively.
- Excellent written communication skills, characterized by clarity, organization, and completeness.
- Thorough understanding of restaurant and hotel operations, enabling the performance of non-repetitive analytical work and adherence to established policies.
- Ability to investigate and analyze current operations or information, making logical conclusions and recommendations.
- Knowledge of hotel operations, including marketing plans, security and safety programs, personnel and labor relations, business plan preparation, repairs, maintenance, budget forecasting, quality assurance programs, and hospitality law.
- Capacity to work efficiently under time constraints and meet deadlines.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills with the flexibility to adapt communication styles to various audiences, including supervisors, coworkers, and the public.
