Compensation
The expected base salary range for this position is $38,300.00 to $57,500.00. The role is also eligible for participation in our short-term incentive program, in accordance with the applicable plan’s terms. Position Details:
As a Branch Sales Associate, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the customer experience by offering solutions and building rapport with walk-in customers through your expertise, guidance, and positive demeanor. You will actively seek to maximize sales opportunities, cultivate customer loyalty, and surpass customer expectations. Your daily responsibilities will involve transitioning between customer assistance and various warehouse tasks under the supervision of the Store Manager.
You Will:
– Oversee the complete customer experience, ensuring appropriate product selection, accurate order entry, safe product picking, and loading of customer vehicles.
– Identify opportunities for sales maximization and foster customer loyalty.
– Adapt your communication style to effectively engage diverse audiences via email, phone, or in person.
– Pick, prepare, and stage will-call and shipping orders.
– Manage customer backorders and organize incoming stock.
– Assist with merchandising and showroom replenishment activities.
– Conduct inventory counts.
– Learn to navigate various computer systems for both customer-facing and warehouse operations.
– Maintain cleanliness and organization within the branch to meet Grainger’s standards.
– Adhere to safety guidelines and comply with all operational process standards, including the use of personal protective equipment.
You Have:
– Flexibility to work varied hours within branch operating times.
– Physical capability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted, and heavier loads with assistance.
– Willingness to learn and operate powered industrial equipment.
