The Bartender is accountable for serving all beverages, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic, while delivering exceptional customer service. Candidates must possess a personable demeanor, demonstrate professionalism, and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Consistent attendance and availability for scheduled events are essential.

Responsibilities:

  • Exhibit the ability to meet company standards in guest service, interpersonal interactions, and adherence to uniform requirements.
  • Comply with pre-shift bar notes and menus to deliver service as specified.
  • Serve alcoholic beverages in accordance with established procedures and state/federal regulations.
  • Acquire and maintain knowledge of various beers, wines, and spirits, with the ability to upsell products to guests effectively.
  • Pour drinks responsibly, adhering to company standards for serving sizes.
  • Verify guests’ identification to confirm compliance with minimum age requirements for alcohol purchase.
  • Effectively communicate any cut-off of service to guests when necessary.
  • Listen attentively to customer requests and address concerns promptly.
  • De-escalate situations involving intoxicated guests, contacting management or security as needed.
  • Seek guidance from management for decisions beyond standard protocols.
  • Request and manage stock replenishment as required.
  • Handle cash accurately, maintaining responsibility for the bar’s cash bank.
  • Maintain a clean and sanitary workstation, ensuring that bar equipment is clean and well-maintained.

Additional duties may include setting up and breaking down bar equipment and assisting with the organization of the cooler.

Qualifications:
