Job Description:

We are currently seeking to fill the position of Electrical Maintenance Mechanic in Huron, OH. This role offers a competitive starting salary ranging from $25.30 to $35.72 per hour, commensurate with experience, along with an additional $1.00 shift differential.

Shifts Available:

  • Evening Shift (2nd): 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM, Monday – Friday
  • Night Shift (3rd): 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM, Sunday – Thursday

As an Electrical Maintenance Mechanic, you will play a vital role in our operations, contributing to the production of high-quality products that impact our customers’ lives.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct repairs and preventative maintenance on equipment including belts, piping, filters, mixers, valves, bearings, mechanical seals, and pumps.
  • Troubleshoot and perform proof tests on equipment as required to identify and resolve issues, while implementing measures to prevent recurrence.
  • Install, test, and maintain control devices, pressure-sensing units, and flow measuring devices.
  • Interpret and work from detailed technical documents, blueprints, and schematics.
  • Operate independently with minimal supervision, demonstrating effective self-management.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of work schedules and completed tasks.
  • Execute basic welding and fabrication duties.
  • Ensure general housekeeping is maintained in the work area.

Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in reading, interpreting, and understanding technical documents and drawings related to plant equipment.
  • Capability to perform confined space entry and work at various heights.
  • The position necessitates frequent physical activity, including lifting, climbing, standing, walking, crouching, squatting, bending, and kneeling.
  • Flexibility to work weekends as needed.
