Job description:

Assists in overseeing the execution of all operations within the rooms division, including the Front Office, Engineering/Maintenance, and Housekeeping, while managing staff effectively. Focuses on enhancing both guest and employee satisfaction while optimizing the department’s financial performance. Monitors adherence to established standards and procedures and leads the team to achieve or exceed property goals.

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or GED with a minimum of four years of experience in guest services, front desk, housekeeping, or a related professional field; OR
  • A two-year degree from an accredited university in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related discipline, accompanied by two years of experience in guest services, front desk, housekeeping, or a similar professional area.

  • Ensures comprehensive orientation for new hires is conducted promptly.
  • Solicits employee feedback and nurtures an "open door" policy to address concerns.
  • Confirms that policies are applied fairly and consistently, including proper documentation of disciplinary actions.

The salary range for this role is $58,000 to $70,000 annually.
