Currently, we have openings for midnight shifts from 10 PM to 6 AM. We emphasize growth within our organization; all new hires start as caregivers and can advance to become Med Techs through our training programs.

As a caregiver at Homestead, your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting residents with daily living activities such as transferring in and out of bed, bathing, dressing, toileting, and walking
• Maintaining cleanliness in the environment, including light housekeeping tasks
• Complying with all safety and health standards, including infection control procedures
• Assessing changes in residents’ conditions and promptly communicating with supervisors
• Administering medications and injections to residents as outlined in medical charts
• Following prescribed schedules and assisting residents with repositioning
• Documenting medication administration as per established procedures
• Exercising sound judgment to ensure client care and safety
• Supporting team members with their duties
• Completing all required documentation and charting
• Responding to call lights and assessing residents’ needs
• Obtaining meal trays and assisting residents with eating
• Performing other duties as assigned by supervisors

To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Ability to pass a criminal background check
• High school diploma or GED
• Reliable transportation
• Availability to work every other weekend
