Role Summary
As a Team Member, you will play a vital role in ensuring a positive experience for our members by delivering exceptional customer service to current members, prospective members, and guests.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide a warm welcome to all members, prospective members, and guests, ensuring an outstanding customer service experience.
- Manage all front desk operations, including:
- Answering phone calls in a friendly and helpful manner while addressing a variety of inquiries.
- Checking members into the system efficiently.
- Facilitating new member registrations.
- Guiding prospective members on tours of the facility.
- Assisting with necessary updates to member accounts.
- Responding promptly and professionally to member questions and concerns, and escalating issues to the Assistant Manager or Manager when appropriate.
- Contributing to the cleanliness and organization of the club.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Prior experience in customer service is preferred.
- Basic proficiency in computer skills is necessary.
- A genuine passion for fitness and health is essential.
- An upbeat and positive attitude is a must.
- Punctuality and reliability are critical.
- Outstanding customer service skills with the ability to interact positively and professionally with members and co-workers, consistently exceeding member expectations.
- Strong listening skills coupled with the ability to empathize and resolve issues effectively.
- Ability to demonstrate diplomacy in all interactions, utilizing appropriate language and behavior.
- High School diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Candidates must be 18 years of age or older.
