Job description:

We are seeking to fill a full-time Barista position immediately.

The position is located at Reynolds & Reynolds, 2405 County Line Road, Beavercreek, OH 45430. Please note that applications are only accepted online.

The full-time schedule runs from Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Further details will be provided during the interview.

While previous barista experience is preferred, it is not a requirement, as we are willing to train the right candidate.

Job Summary:
As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of coffee and espresso drinks, as well as related food and beverage items. You will adhere to HACCP standards and ensure quality food service operations. Interacting with both customers and colleagues in a friendly and courteous manner is essential.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prepare espresso orders for customers and catering using standardized measures and recipes.
  • Accurately input orders into the POS device and handle cash and credit transactions.
  • Replenish condiments, beverages, and general supplies while ensuring the cleanliness of the service area.
  • Maintain proper presentation, portion control, and serving temperatures in accordance with HACCP guidelines.
  • Ensure sanitation and orderliness of equipment, supplies, and utensils at all times.
  • Uphold quality food preparation standards by following approved recipes and production guidelines.
  • Keep display equipment clean and free of debris during meal service.
  • Clean equipment and workstation thoroughly before proceeding to other assignments.
  • Greet customers courteously and engage with them to ensure satisfaction, relaying any relevant concerns to supervisors.
  • Serve customers swiftly and efficiently to prevent delays.
  • Demonstrate a thorough understanding of daily menu items and provide accurate explanations to customers.
  • Advocate for effective selling techniques, establishing good communication and supporting customer decision-making.
  • Present display foods attractively in accordance with standards and serve food neatly.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
