Job description:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Front Desk Representative to join our dynamic team at Goldfish Swim School, a rapidly growing and award-winning swim school franchise. This role is ideal for individuals who are looking for an engaging work environment where they can gain valuable experience and contribute to the success of our organization.

As a Front Desk Representative, you will assist in growing our business during Saturday and evening shifts. Evening shifts begin at 3:30 PM and continue until 7:30 PM on Monday and Wednesday or 8:30 PM on Tuesday and Thursday. Saturday shifts start at 8:30 AM and last until 4:15 PM. There are also opportunities to earn additional income by working at birthday parties and special events. On days with open swim sessions and birthday parties, you may be required to start later in the day, around 12:00 PM, and work until 7:15 PM.

Responsibilities:

• Respond to phone inquiries, take messages, and direct calls in a professional manner
• Process student registrations utilizing effective sales and customer service techniques
• Address customer concerns with a commitment to delivering WOW! customer service
• Greet parents and students at the front desk warmly
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the front desk area, Snack Shack, changing areas, restrooms, and observation zones
• Check and respond to voicemail and email correspondence promptly
• Update informational displays with current promotions and materials
• Make calls to resolve outstanding account issues
• Enforce safety rules and regulations to mitigate accidents and provide first aid as necessary
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Intermediate computer skills required, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and other software systems

Certifications:

• CPR, First Aid, and AED certification is strongly preferred

Work Environment:

• Employees may occasionally encounter heat and humidity; the noise level is generally moderate.
