Compensation:

  • Minimum: USD $25.00 per hour
  • Maximum: USD $45.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional technical expertise, quality, and value in your services to customers.
  • Install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, cooling, and refrigeration systems for commercial clients.
  • Diagnose and resolve issues with electronic, mechanical, and electrical components of HVAC/R systems.
  • Travel to job sites, collaborating with the dispatcher to ensure an efficient schedule and effective communication with customers regarding any delays.
  • Be available for night and weekend shifts as required to address emergency situations for our clients.
  • Maintain the company vehicle, equipment, and electronic devices in good working order.
  • Keep stock, parts, tools, and safety equipment organized within the vehicle.
  • Document all service activities and parts provided to customers using iPad applications.
  • Identify and report potential opportunities for additional business, such as new units, preventative maintenance contracts, and extra services.
  • Engage in company-provided training opportunities to enhance your skill set.

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 2 years of recent HVAC/R Technician experience in the field.
  • Residency within 30 miles of the position location is required.
  • Valid driver’s license is essential.
  • EPA Certification is mandatory.
  • Proficient in reading schematics and work plans.
  • Strong knowledge of advanced principles of air conditioning, refrigeration, and heating.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Basic computer skills for using iPads and mobile devices for documentation and communication.
  • Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, or holidays as necessary.

Physical Requirements:

  • Regularly requires vision, hearing, and effective communication skills, including twisting and talking.
  • Ability to alternate between standing, sitting, walking, lifting, carrying, reaching, kneeling, pushing/pulling, bending, and crouching.
  • Competence in operating an iPad, smartphone, computer, and/or other office-related equipment.
  • Capacity to stand for extended periods and travel as necessary on a daily basis.
  • Ability to lift up to 100 lbs. safely.
  • Frequent climbing may be necessary.
  • Occasional work in an office environment may be required as needed.
