Delaware North Parks and Resorts is seeking a dedicated full-time or part-time Cook to become a valued member of our team at The Lodge at Geneva in Geneva, Ohio. Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare food in accordance with established portion sizes and quality standards, ensuring adherence to departmental policies and procedures, proper food temperatures, and correct storage methods, while maintaining the freshness and quality of menu items.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, sanitized, and adequately stocked workstation, coolers, and equipment.
  • Follow waste control standards and accurately document all waste on the spoilage sheet.
  • Execute opening, closing, and side work duties, as well as perform end-of-day inventory.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of one year of experience in a back-of-the-house foodservice position.
  • Proficient in reading and comprehending prep sheets and recipes.
  • Basic mathematical skills, with the ability to calculate and follow recipe measurements.
  • High school diploma or GED is not required.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift 50 lbs or more, reach heights up to seven feet, bend, and squat.
  • Capability to stand and walk throughout the entire shift in moderate to high noise levels.
  • Manual dexterity for chopping, mixing, blending, whipping a variety of foods and liquids, and operating kitchen equipment.
  • Exposure to varying temperatures and a damp environment.
