Job Description
Job Title: Cook
Company: Corewell Health
Location: Grand Rapids, MI
Pay: $16.46 per hour
AI Pay Analysis: As of October 2023, an hourly rate of $16.46 for a Cook position in Grand Rapids, MI, appears to be somewhat competitive but may fall slightly below the average for similar roles in the region. Generally, hourly wages for cooks can vary significantly based on experience, type of establishment, and specific cuisine, with many positions offering between $15 to $20 per hour. While entry-level cooks may earn rates at the lower end of this spectrum, more experienced cooks or those in specialized roles might command higher wages. Additionally, local market conditions, the cost of living, and employer benefits should also be considered when assessing this wage’s competitiveness. Overall, while $16.46 is within the expected range, it might not be fully commensurate with the skills and experience required for more advanced positions.
