Schedule:

  • Approximately 85% of driver routes permit daily home return.
  • Standard schedule typically consists of four 12-hour shifts.
  • Saturday deliveries may be required.
  • Vacation coverage for drivers may involve night routes and overnight hotel stays.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate trucks to deliver products to customers while adhering to scheduled delivery times.
  • Efficiently unload products using equipment such as two-wheelers and pallet jacks, placing items in designated storage areas.
  • Confirm the accuracy of deliveries with customers and secure necessary signatures.
  • Manage any collections and payments from customers when applicable.
  • Deliver exemplary customer service to enhance client satisfaction.
  • Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of equipment.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull between 20 to 80+ lbs of product consistently throughout each shift.
  • Comfortable operating in adverse weather conditions and making frequent stops (10+ per shift).

Qualifications:

  • Registration with the FMCSA Clearinghouse is required.
  • Candidates must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Valid CDL Class A license issued by your state of residence, along with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications, is mandatory.
  • A minimum of six months of commercial driving experience in any industry, or three months of experience within the food and/or beverage delivery sectors, is required.
  • Proficiency in operating manual transmission vehicles is preferred; this may be required at certain locations.
  • Fluency in English is essential for effective communication, comprehension of roadside signs, response to inquiries, and accurate completion of reports.
