Job Title: 2nd Shift Caregiver

Company: Appledorn Assisted Living Center South

Location: Holland, MI

Pay: $15.5 – 18.25 per hour

AI Pay Analysis: The hourly rate of $15.50 to $18.25 for a “2nd Shift Caregiver” in Holland, MI, is generally competitive but may vary based on factors such as experience, certifications, and specific employer practices. In Michigan, the average wage for caregivers typically ranges from $12 to $18 per hour, thus positioning this pay scale at, or slightly above, the lower to mid-range of industry standards. Additionally, given the increasing demand for caregivers due to an aging population and the challenges associated with the ongoing workforce shortages, this wage range can be considered appealing, particularly for entry-level to moderately experienced positions in the area. However, as cost of living varies, local market conditions and job responsibilities should be further examined to assess its full competitiveness.
