Job Overview
The Logistics Operator I is responsible for the efficient fulfillment of Customer Orders. This role involves traveling throughout the warehouse to accurately retrieve and organize products based on the Pick Ticket while utilizing a computer screen to navigate a pre-determined conveyor or pallet. The Operator will build stable pallets of products, consistently meeting or exceeding safety, accuracy, and efficiency standards established by the Warehouse and Company.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Retrieve and assemble specified quantities of product cases onto a designated pallet as indicated by the assigned Pick Ticket, ensuring safety and stability while meeting or surpassing Warehouse and Company expectations for safety, accuracy, and efficiency.
  • Operate a Powered Industrial Truck (PIT), such as a pallet jack, to safely transport stacked pallets of products to various locations within the Warehouse.
  • Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization within the Warehouse as required.
  • Conduct daily PIT checks and promptly inform Warehouse Management of any identified issues.
  • Address and resolve discrepancies identified by the Checker regarding product or quantity.
  • Engage in miscellaneous tasks as directed to enhance the overall efficiency of Warehouse operations in a dynamic environment.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

  • Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced environment, encompassing frequent walking and repetitive lifting of 30-75 lbs.
  • Strong team collaboration skills.
  • Proven capability to organize and coordinate efficient warehouse processes.
  • Flexibility to navigate different work areas as needed, consistently meeting minimum expectations.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting instructions from computer screens.
  • Keen attention to detail and the ability to distinguish between different product packages.
  • Capacity to work amid noise and in environments that are non-climate controlled, including exposure to high and low temperatures.
  • A proactive self-starter who actively seeks out opportunities for improvement.
  • Flexibility in scheduling is essential, as work hours may shift based on business demands.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED

Preferred Qualifications
