Schedule:

  • 85% of driver routes allow for daily home time.
  • Typical schedule consists of four 12-hour shifts.
  • Saturday deliveries may be required.
  • Driver vacation coverage may include some night routes and overnight stays.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate trucks safely to deliver products to customers while adhering to scheduled delivery times.
  • Efficiently unload products from the trailer using equipment such as two-wheelers and pallet jacks, or by hand, ensuring proper placement in designated storage areas.
  • Verify delivery accuracy by obtaining appropriate signatures from customers.
  • Handle customer collections and payments as necessary.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to enhance client relationships.
  • Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of equipment.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to repetitively lift, carry, push, and pull products weighing between 20 to 80+ lbs throughout each shift.
  • Comfortable driving and working in various inclement weather conditions, making frequent stops (10+ per shift).

Qualifications:

  • Registration with the FMCSA Clearinghouse is required.
  • Candidates must be at least 21 years old.
  • Possession of a valid CDL Class A issued by the state of residence, along with the necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications.
  • A minimum of six months of commercial driving experience in any industry, or three months of commercial driving experience specifically in food and/or beverage delivery.
  • Preference for candidates who can operate manual transmissions; this may be a requirement in certain locations.
  • Proficiency in English is essential for effective communication, including the ability to engage in conversations, comprehend traffic signs, respond to inquiries, and accurately document information.
