As a Shift Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in supporting the General Manager and Assistant Managers by motivating and mentoring our retail team members. This leadership position is pivotal in fostering a welcoming environment that positions Trulieve as the premier dispensary. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, along with the ability to inspire a customer-focused team while maintaining high standards of service and conflict resolution.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversee retail operations in support of the General Manager and Assistant Managers.
- Provide administrative and management assistance to store leadership.
- Lead by example in delivering exceptional customer service and driving sales to meet daily targets.
- Manage payroll and control expenses, including shrink and cash shortages.
- Ensure compliance with state-specific cannabis regulations and laws.
- Collaborate with management on various business functions.
- Handle opening and closing procedures and supervise the staff as a key-holding supervisor.
- Address customer and employee concerns, including returns, exchanges, and complaints.
- Perform administrative tasks, including working with the POS system and generating reports.
- Develop expertise in our product offerings and mentor team members accordingly.
- Implement all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) within the dispensary.
- Train staff on state-specific SOPs comprehensively.
- Manage cash handling and register balancing duties.
- Foster positive team interactions through effective communication and recognition.
- Facilitate the training process for new employees and support ongoing staff development.
- Create a positive work atmosphere by approaching responsibilities with enthusiasm.
- Participate in continuous education and seek opportunities for personal and team growth.
- Work collaboratively and respectfully with colleagues.

Skills and Qualifications:
- An associate degree is preferred.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Prior cash handling experience is required.
