Job description:
The Estimator’s primary responsibility is to deliver an outstanding and seamless customer experience while producing accurate estimates and coordinating repair needs for clients. This includes comprehensive communication, regular updates for customers and insurance companies throughout the repair process. The Estimator is tasked with diligently assessing vehicle damage and documenting required repairs and parts replacements in the damage appraisal. This role is crucial in enhancing the customer experience by ensuring collaboration with all team members to achieve the repair facility’s key performance indicators.

Key Responsibilities:
– Document and update each customer interaction with relevant details efficiently and accurately.
– Provide customers with precise and timely information, assisting them throughout the repair process to ensure exceptional service.
– Adhere to all insurance client requirements, processes, and metrics.
– Comply with all operating procedures regarding customer drop-offs, repair planning, communication, and delivery.
– Communicate customer requests and needs effectively to relevant team members.
– Exhibit a welcoming and positive demeanor when greeting customers both in person and on the phone.
– Maintain a thorough understanding of all required insurance programs and procedures.
– Participate in daily production walks with the Management Team as necessary.
– Offer support to team members when needed.
– Attend monthly Health & Safety and staff meetings when required.
– Engage in training sessions and workshops recommended by the Store Manager.
– Contribute to maintaining the store’s KPIs through optimal role performance.

Education and Experience:
– Knowledge of repairs and Original Equipment (OE) guidelines.
– High School Diploma or equivalent.
– Demonstrated ability to seek out information effectively.
– Basic computer skills.
– Minimum of one-year experience in compliance for Direct Repair Programs (DRP).
– Willingness to complete I-CAR Training.
– Valid Driver’s License.
