NTB, part of the Mavis Tires Family, is seeking full-time Automotive Assistant and Service Managers to join Team Mavis at our state-of-the-art automotive service and retail tire sales centers in the Marion, OH area. With over 2,000 retail locations, Mavis is recognized as one of the largest tire sales and automotive repair chains in the United States.
Position Overview for Assistant Manager
The Assistant Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of the repair shop. Key responsibilities include scheduling the work of mechanics and technicians, ordering parts, and ensuring that all jobs are completed efficiently and exceed customer expectations. This position also emphasizes the importance of maintaining a safe work environment and a tidy shop. Successful candidates will possess knowledge of under-car repairs, alignments, tires, and exhaust systems, along with basic math and computer skills. Effective communication of safety and mechanical issues to the store manager for customer interaction is essential. Basic supervisory and leadership skills are also required for full effectiveness in this role.

The Service Manager will assist customers in selecting appropriate tires and under-car repair services.
