Job Title: Truck Driver CDL A Hourly

Company: Ryder

Location: Columbus, OH

Pay: $27 per hour

AI Pay Analysis: As of October 2023, an hourly rate of $27 for a “Truck Driver CDL A” role in Columbus, OH is generally competitive, but it depends on several factors including experience, company size, and specific job responsibilities. Nationally, the average hourly wage for CDL A truck drivers varies but typically falls between $22 to $30, with some experienced drivers earning more based on specialty lanes or added skills. In Ohio, wages may lean towards the lower end of that scale, but the demand for truck drivers, especially for those with a CDL A, remains strong, which can drive wages up. Overall, $27 per hour is within a reasonable range for the Columbus area, suggesting that the role offers a competitive wage aligned with industry standards.
