NTB, in partnership with Mavis Tires, is seeking full-time Automotive Assistant and Service Managers to join Team Mavis at our state-of-the-art automotive service and retail tire sales centers in the Canton, OH area. With over 2,000 retail locations, Mavis is recognized as one of the largest tire sales and automotive repair chains in the United States.
Position Overview: Assistant Manager
The Assistant Manager will oversee the efficient operation of the repair shop. Key responsibilities include scheduling the work of mechanics and technicians, ordering parts, and ensuring the quality and timely completion of jobs that not only meet but exceed customer expectations. The role also entails ensuring the safety of personnel and maintaining the cleanliness of the shop. Ideal candidates should possess knowledge of under-car repairs, alignment, tires, and exhaust systems, along with basic math and computer skills. Effective communication of safety and mechanical issues to the store manager for customer updates is essential. Candidates should also demonstrate basic supervisory and leadership skills to excel in this position.
Position Overview: Service Manager
The Service Manager plays a critical role in assisting customers with tire selections and necessary under-car repair services. This is a sales-oriented position that demands prior sales experience, particularly in products and services that require upselling techniques.
