Job description:

As a part-time associate, you will play a vital role in enhancing customer experiences by sampling products for suppliers in a Sam’s Club location. Your primary responsibility will be to introduce customers to new and exciting items and brands through engaging product tasting events and demonstrations. While prior experience in customer service, food handling, or as a bartender, server, cashier, stocker, demonstrator, brand ambassador, or brand advocate is advantageous, it is not required, as we offer comprehensive training.

Key Responsibilities:

• Engage customers effectively by communicating essential information about products.
• Ensure compliance with food safety standards while preparing and serving samples, including cooking, processing, plating, and serving.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve sales objectives for the featured products.

Qualifications:

• Candidates must be at least 16 years of age (18+ for positions involving alcohol and production).
• Preference for availability on weekends (Friday through Sunday); holiday and weekday shifts may also be offered.
• Access to a smartphone or tablet is required on days worked.
• Ability to safely operate appliances such as a microwave, toaster oven, or hot plate.
• Physical capability to stand for the duration of the event.
