Job Title: Caregiver 3rd shift

Company: Homestead

Location: Lansing, MI

Pay: $14 per hour

AI Pay Analysis: The hourly wage of $14 for a “Caregiver 3rd Shift” role in Lansing, MI, is below the national average for similar positions, which typically ranges from $15 to $20 per hour depending on experience, specific duties, and geographic location. In Michigan, the pay for caregivers can vary, but many employers offer higher rates to attract qualified staff, especially for challenging shifts like overnight. Factors such as the cost of living in Lansing and the demand for caregivers can also influence competitiveness; however, as of 2023, $14 per hour may not be sufficient to attract and retain talent in a market where caregivers often seek better economic incentives. Overall, this rate may be considered uncompetitive in the current job landscape.
