Job Description
Job Title: Direct Service Professional – Thursday/Friday evening
Company: Help at Home
Location: Shelby Township, MI
Pay: $16 – 17 per hour
AI Pay Analysis: The hourly rate of $16 to $17 for a Direct Service Professional in Shelby Township, MI, appears to be somewhat on the lower end of the compensation spectrum for this role, which typically involves supporting individuals with developmental disabilities or mental health challenges. According to industry standards, direct support professionals often earn between $14 and $21 per hour depending on experience, specific duties, and the region. Given the cost of living in Michigan and the importance of these roles in providing essential services, this wage may be considered under competitive, particularly for evening shifts that may require greater flexibility and availability. Employers may need to offer additional benefits or incentives to attract qualified candidates in this field.
