Job Title: CDL A Truck Driver

Company: US Foods

Location: Peninsula, OH

Pay: $18.95 – 19.95 per hour

AI Pay Analysis: The hourly rate of $18.95 to $19.95 for a CDL A Truck Driver in Peninsula, OH, appears to be on the lower end of the competitive spectrum, especially considering national averages for similar roles which typically range from $20 to $30 per hour depending on experience, route type, and company. In Ohio, wages may vary by region, but this range may not fully attract qualified drivers given the rising demand for truck drivers and the competitive nature of the industry. Additionally, factors such as benefits, bonuses, and mileage pay can also significantly influence overall compensation. Therefore, while this rate may be acceptable for entry-level positions or less busy routes, it may not sufficiently leverage the current demand in the trucking industry, potentially making it less attractive for experienced drivers.
