Position Overview:
As a Field Service Technician Apprentice, you will participate in a structured apprenticeship program leading to certification. In this role, you will work at various job sites, conducting testing, installations, and repairs, utilizing our proprietary software, TANCS, to document your findings.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough site assessments and surveys.
  • Perform leak detection tests on fuel storage tanks and piping systems.
  • Install equipment and test tank gauge systems.
  • Enter and analyze test results, effectively communicating findings to the Operations team.
  • Manage and report inventory of parts and supplies kept in your company vehicle.

Qualifications:

  • Mechanical aptitude with experience in related trades (HVAC, plumbing, mechanics, electrical work, carpentry, or cable installation preferred).
  • Physical capability to lift up to 70 pounds and perform tasks requiring stooping, bending, and kneeling.
  • Comfort with climbing 20-foot extension ladders multiple times a day.
  • Willingness to undergo a DOT physical, drug screening, DMV record check, and background check.
  • Proficiency in basic computer skills for data entry.
  • Strong communication abilities.
  • Availability for travel across multiple states, with occasional overnight stays (hotel accommodations and a generous per diem provided).
