We are currently seeking a Seasonal Merchandiser to join our Field Sales team. Seasonal Merchandisers report directly to a Sales Manager and engage with our big box retail partners, such as Home Depot and Lowe’s. Responsibilities will include executing merchandising directives and resets, building positive relationships with store personnel and customers, and communicating inventory opportunities to the Scotts Sales team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Merchandise products both inside and outside retail locations.
• Provide customers and store associates with detailed knowledge of Scotts brands.
• Ensure that products are consistently stocked and well-presented.
• Assist in identifying opportunities for solution selling and additional product space.
• Support the Sales Manager and store employees as necessary.
• Work effectively both independently and collaboratively to accomplish assigned tasks.

Qualifications for Success:

• Prior experience in retail, merchandising, or stocking is preferred.
• A problem-solving mindset and a service-oriented attitude.
• Flexibility to work varied schedules, including weekends and holidays.
• Familiarity with operating company-provided technology.
• A current, valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Physical ability to routinely walk, stand, climb an 8-12 foot ladder, lift up to 45 lbs, and work in varying weather conditions (e.g., heat, cold, rain, wind).
