The compensation for this position starts at $18.95 per hour, with an opportunity for a rate increase after 90 days. We offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, 401K, life insurance, and a strong emphasis on safety and leadership development.

Schedule: Tuesday to Saturday, from 7:30 AM until completion of deliveries.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate delivery trucks and ensure timely delivery to customers.
  • Unload products from the truck using a two-wheeler, pallet jack, or manually, placing them in designated storage areas for customers.
  • Verify delivery accuracy with customers and secure necessary signatures.
  • Manage collections and payments from customers when applicable.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to enhance the client experience.
  • Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull between 20 to 80+ lbs. repeatedly throughout each shift.
  • Comfortable operating vehicles and working in inclement weather, making frequent stops (10+ per shift).

Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Hold a valid U.S. driver’s license issued by your state of legal residence, with the required endorsements.
  • Must successfully pass a DOT physical as well as pre-employment testing (including drug screenings and background checks).
  • No more than two traffic violation convictions in the past two years, no DUI convictions in the past three years, and no driver’s license suspensions within the last three years.
  • While commercial or professional driving experience is not necessary, one year of multi-stop delivery experience is preferred, or six months of local delivery experience and/or foodservice industry background.
  • Preferred experience with hand cart deliveries.
  • Willingness to work on weekends, holidays, and overtime to meet customer needs.
  • Proficient in reading, writing, and communicating in English as it relates to job duties and safety protocols.
  • Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
  • A high school diploma or GED is preferred.
